Is my Mareep retarted? [EV Training help]

I have a Mareep with a Jolly nature that Often dozes off
Her speed and defense stats are the lowest D:
I'v been fighting nothing but Purloin for the past couple of levels it grew
it's speed has gotten higher by one since I did this
but her speed and defense continues to be the lowest and when she levels up
for speed she gains +0
Am I doing somrthing wrong? D: <
Is she just retarted crying

cause I wanted to EV train my Mareep for Speed and Special Attack..

Lol with my first run through a new game of pokemon. I don't EV train at all....though once when I get through it I would normally start to EV train the s**t. Takes time but the end results would be great.

My Mareep is currently Lvl 17 Hasty Nature that has a Sturdy Body (Male as well Lol). His speed and defense are actually the lowest as well. So I don't think your mareep is incapable(dont like the word retarded, "issues" wink

Ampharos isn't a sweeper..
Probably not the best wall either, though it's good for just a play through
Here's the base stats of Ampharos..
HP: 90
Attack: 75
Defense: 75
Special Attack: 115
Special Defense: 90
Speed: 55

I'd actually say.. try to get a nature with + Special Attack and - Speed.
If you really want it to attack first, give it Quick Claw.. Something like that..
There's not going to be much where you can improve a speed like that..]
