I had a purple GBC, but I got rid of it cause I got tired of buying batteries all the time. -_-;
My original GB, bit the dust like two days after I got GBC. Soo, yeah, I was lucky to get the new system, before the old one bit the dust.

I don't know what happened to my original GB. I think I lost it somewhere between California and Nevada. But I got my GBC, and the first game I got for it was Red.

That sucks, but cool on the GBC and Red.
I don't remember what Pokemon game I had first. Lol.
I can't remember if it was Yellow, Red, or Blue. I know at one point I had all three.
I think I still have Red & Blue somewhere.

I still have my Gold version. I wouldn't give it up for the world, since it has my very first Lvl. 100 Pokemon on it. My Silver version bit the dust a while back and I've never had the pleasure of playing Crystal.
I don't remember what happened to Yellow...... Lol.

Red had my first several hundreds, never had any hundreds on Gold, even though it was my favorite.

It wasn't until Ruby that I got my second hundred Pokemon.
Ruby's also the only one I've completed a dex for. (Completed the Hoenn dex.)

I've never actually completed a Dex myself, and it's taken me until Black to get another hundred.
Oh, and I still haven't seen/hatched a Shiny myself.
