Gym and Elite Rules and Standards



The rules are the way they are, a little bent from the normal rules, to make it more of a challenge for challengers, thus the word challengers.


The Gym Leader:
[X] May use 1 or 2 types listed.
[X] May also choose one type and then select a dual type of their choice that isn't taken.
[X] May or may not choose have a wild card
[X] Must join guild and will become crew member.
[X] May create their own rules.

The Elite Four Leader:
[X] May use any team they like
[X] Must be extremely strong.
(strength is about the fact you have mixed teams, it's about strategy)
[X] Must join guild and will become crew
[X] May create their own rules.

say for me, my gym is fire/grass then my wild card would be neither grass nor fire type. 3nodding

alright another few questions (sorry if the questions are bugging ya)

1. What format will the battles be held in? (Singles, Doubles, Triples, Rotation, Flat, No Restrictions)
2. Are we only allowed to have one wild card on our team? (but only use one?)
3. Do we have to have a full party of 6 Pokemon?

I'll answer that.
1. Leader chooses the format of their battle. It is their gym after all!
2. One Wild Card for every 5 Pokemon. I happen to have a box full of them and I can switch my wild card out for a different one whenever I can, as long as I retain the 5 Pokemon minimum in the Gym.
3. Yes, however, if you choose Flat Doubles or Singles, then you'll only need at least 4.
