Most important! Should I colour this or continue shading it? I colour like This and shade like That. Please let me know quickly, vday is coming up soon and I have very little time sweatdrop Also looking at it now I think the arm's a little too long?

This is my valentine gift for my bf. The sketch is finished but the shading is not. I'm trying to decide if i should finish shading this, or should I colour it? I'd love to colour it but may take too much time, I have midterms this week. I might make the sacrifice to colour depending on what you guys think though.

Looking for crit on:
-what do you think of it generally? (besides being messy, I apologise)
-the flower on the top left. I don't really like it too much esp the leaves. Do you think I should add two smaller roses at the sides instead? Any other suggestions?
-crit on anatomy! how are the proportions?
-does the dress look wacky? I want it to be slightly abstract/surreal.
-does the figure look to stiff?

The dog has a special meaning for us. Any comments on the composition? Could I position anything better? THANKS A LOT! heart

I really like how you color, but if it's a time crunch then i'd consider shading, then coloring at a later time, like a part 1 and part 2 gift lol.

As for the figure, I can't tell if she is sitting or standing. I'm also not sure of what kind of animal she is holding.

For the sake of focal points, I'd get rid of the giant flower and just connect the two small bottom flowers with the small side one in one swift line. That will bring the eye to a full circle.

Other than that i really like it. It has a really sweet and romantic feel to it. And I love the clasp to her dress.

The part one and part two ideas are great lol thnks xD She's supposed to be standing, would you mind telling me if possible what makes her look as though she's sitting? Maybe I need to lengthen the dress? But I'll run off the page if I do that, esp if I shade. I guess I need a dog ref too now lol. I totally agree about the flower, looking at it I really hate it now. I think the quote is really sweet. I think its the way her dress connects to the side petal that gives the impression she's sitting (to me at least). It makes the dress look like its draped over something (like a bench or swing). Maybe shading will differentiate the background from her dress though.

The color and shading is VERY smooth and gentle, which adds to the mood wonderfully. Honestly, there are only two flaws I see: her nose looks a little funny, and the overall picture is too fuzzy. For the fuzziness, you can either a. invest in a scanner, or b. Take the photo at a better angle with good lighting and edit it in photoshop or even gimp.

Thank you I'm glad you like it! The reason I took a photo of it was because it was alot quicker to upload than scanning but I'll definitely scan it when I put up the final version. Will look at her nose, thanks <3

beautiful, but is it the kind of thing he likes? i mean if it is that is AWESOME but my boyfriend is really into cars, blood, action movies, commedies, music. so im making him a shirt with an anatomically correct heart on it.

i love the composition though, it is quite beautiful.
