Thanks for all the wonderful feedback - the critiques are very welcome, and I'll keep them in mind for sure.

I'm going to re-work parts of this picture a little later on (when I've completed each piece in the series) and so all comments and critiques are very appreciated - thankyou! smile

For those who were wondering, I made this entirely in photoshop, using the shape tool, the pen tool, and fckloads of layer styles and effects (yet no filters or anything). I try to make the number of layer effects not look too blatantly obvious by mixing and merging a great deal of them to create a unique look, which I think works quite well ^^
