The Cat and the meaning of life - a series of art and rhyme;
Upon his mat the Cat did ponder,
what is the meaning of life?
the mat didn't know, so the Cat did go,
on a quest to sort out his strife,
And on his quest to figure out life,
the Cat did visit the moon,
he took a deep breath, the answer he said,
is all in the Dish and the Spoon,
Down from the sky the Cat did climb,
feeling a little confused,
seeing a Cow, he gave a friendly meow,
but all it said was moo,
Lonely and lost the Cat ventured on,
when he came across a Poodle,
the Dog was kind, as the Cat came to find,
and she offered the Cat a noodle,
You look rather lost said Dog to Cat,
I've felt that way before,
but it's not the end, for I am a friend,
and you are alone no more,
The poodle had made the cat feel well,
And so he brought out his fiddle,
The dog did dance, and the cow did prance,
As the cat played a-hey-diddle-diddle,
Far away the sounds did travel,
heard by Dish and Spoon,
and so they ran, as utensils can,
to join cat, dog, cow and moon,
A-hey-diddle-diddle the cat played his fiddle,
the cow leapt into the sky,
their worries were gone, lost to the song,
they'd never felt so high,
After the show Cat asked Dish,
What the Moon had meant,
Dish did gloat, and cleared his throat,
And so his story went,
A long time ago he also searched,
And he would say he succeeded,
For one fine noon, he met dear spoon,
And that was all he needed,
And the cat, at that, understood all,
the whole kit and caboodle,
the sun did rise, and to no ones surprise,
the Cat ran off with the Poodle.
