It took me a whole minute and a half of HARD WORK to use the default Filter -> Artistic -> Cutout settings! That's because I am an ARTIST.

Okay, since you're so insistent on being unoriginal, then I'm sorry to say that the picture is also really, really dull and bad? Sorry dude.

I have read all of your posts in this thread and find that you're being extremely rude. He gave you the tutorials were he learned how to create everything for this wallpaper. They don't look EXACTLY the same but very similar. He was obviously taking these tutorials, doing what was told of him in them; since that's what a tutorial was made for. He now understands how to make these and is obviously improving his skills. I don't think because he followed a tutorial to be completely unoriginal- I call it learning. Now how about you shut the ******** up if you don't have any critique for this piece.


On subject;
I really enjoy this piece. I feel like the moon's craters need to be a bit darker and defined better. The ripples in the water seem very awkward and randomly placed move outward from the first ripple like you would see in real life.

Awwww than you so very much! And yes i was trying to get the moon craters to show up but i was having a very hard time with as well as the water ripples.

I would use the burn tool to bring out the craters more.

100% original means that the photos of the moon and trees were photos that you took, not that you found and claimed as yours in your work.

Copying a tutorial shouldn't be something to put up in front of everyone to say "LOOK WHAT I MADE!" It's something you do to learn from, and move on to creating work that is entirely yours.

How much of this did you actually create and not crop and paste?

all of it was made by me. Everything even the grass, the moon, the background all of it. Those where pictures i found on the net everything was made with filters that came with photoshop.
an yes it did take 12 hours to do this. was pain ><

You are using resources that were not made by you. Please credit the photographers who took the photos you used.

Other than that, I just see a boring composition and you using photoshop as a crutch. If I can tell that you used photoshops because of the filters used, that makes the image not very interesting or impressive.

Again, like your 3D works, you fail to create something that is entirely original, and settle on using what the program to make your art for you. Know that the programs you use are just tools, and it's the artist behind the tool that creates the work, not the computer.

Overall, more look into color theory and composition, and drawing. You need more practice drawing from life.
