Looks good!

The anatomy isn't that much off to be honest. Watch out for the shoulders though, they could be a slight wider, to fit the size of the head. And there could be a bit more neck definition too, just be careful that you don't make the head sit straight on the shoulder line.

I like the pose, love the cat headband and I think you did great with the hands too!

So keep it up!

Dont listen to this 'critique' please... (Why are you ignoring all the real critique and help people are giving you???)

You will never improve with this sugar coated complement.

I am going to be as honest as my art teacher and good critiques were, when they were honest with me, which helped me improve, and become the artist I am today.

The hands are NOT good, in fact they are so off, that the fingers look broken. The way the thumbs go behind her back make her look like she is flat.

The lines are inconsistent and scratchy, and the coloring on the 'ribbons' flowing from her band around her head are colored poorly. And yes, not all women have bit hips, but ALL women have hips, even men, unless youre overweight. She at least needs SOME curves to define her torso and bones, if she's skinny that is...

The way you drew her boobs show that they are meant to be big, if that was true then you should not draw them so squished. Her head is really big and her eyes are too far about, in reality, a human's eyes are one eye space apart.

She has no neck, and her shoulders just seem to.. begin.

I could go on, but to be honest, it looks like a mediocre drawing.

Here is a tip; if you want to draw anime, you better discover your own unique style that is pleasing to the eyes before you do, because you won't ever get better unless you are well rounded in the art world, and obviously you aren't. Don't EVER reject critique, or else your art will ALWAYS look like... that...

People are right, you do show potential, you probably will become a good artist, but with the attitude you showed to your first critique and then the compliment above, I don't think you'll get anywhere.

Also, I was going to redline this, but I wasn't sure if it'd be a waste of time.

I agree with this comment. i think you did a pretty good job, not a pro (how many ppl here are xd ) but not bad either. It does need work but you are definitely showing that you have potential to do better! Just keep going, keep drawing and don't give up.

A tip, don't draw from others' art esp anime/manga, use real photos or observe real people if you can. reason being is that lots of artists make mistakes or intentionally distort proportions. And if you draw from them you'll repeat their mistakes.

good luck and I hope to see more art from you soon.

I'm trying t get better at cartoon... anime... all things not real... I've got real down well.. I can doo portraits perfectly... have severeal pictures of my dog and baby girl that i've drawn ^_^ Maybe I'll post some of them.. prolly get better reactions. lol... but that's why I enjoyed this picture so much, cause it's all in my learning process to be able to draw in this way. Like I said realism, i have.. i can look at anything and draw it pretty well. But, Kitty Ninja here was a break through for me, lol... and I THOUGHT i did pretty good on it.. but many people here disagree. lol.

The pose looks rather stiff too. And like Hiei the Epic is right, the hips look quite narrow for a woman, even one that does acrobatics and such. The boobs look pretty squashed, and I imagine it would be very hard to be acrobatic with big boobs like that.
I think you need to work on the design of the dress and giving a more defined, feminine form to the character.

it looks like a man with squashed breasts. her hips are unnaturally narrow.

study the basics of human anatomy rather than doing these cartoon doodles. her entire body is very off.
Hiei the Epic
is it male or female? the chest looks a bit lumpy, like there are boobs, but they're flattened by a sports bra or something. but the hips are very narrow and manly.

Not all girls have huge hips ya'know...
And the one's that are more into acrobatics/gymnastics... actually have smaller hips... more slender in their whole body....

Thanks for the critique tho... I do know that I have a lot more work to do do get the anatomy completely right, but this was a big breakthrough for me, this picture was. lol...
