Here's a quickie I just did.. 10 minutes to sketch, about a half hour to colour. It's kinda crappy but oh well. It's my first attempt at a self portrait.

biggrin Everyone's artwork is so beautiful! I can draw, but very little. I wish I could draw like that.. maybe I can get into the highschool's art class and get the best art teacher there. I want to learn how to color in properly and shade... like, I want to learn detail. I know the basics but that's it. I WANT DETAIL! And you all have it. *Jealous* It's all so pretty and awesome.. biggrin

Well, on my screen all I see of your picture is a stupid little red x box. But don't listen to that person! I bet with a bit more practise you'd be awesome. But I'm judging this out of guessing. But.. I bet you're better than me! If only I could see your pic. sad

..One night I got bored and I took out my paper and a normal HB #2 pencil and started doodling a portrait of Eminem from one of my posters on my wall. It looked really good when I was done, except it looked more like Justin Timberlake from NSTINKALOT (I hate them with a passion, especially Justin Timberlake) because I didn't fill in the hair to make it look more like him. I brought it to school and everyone loved it, but they agreed with me thinking that it looks more like JT. So I guess, if I had an up-to-date photo of me I'd be able to do a self partrait of myself maybe really good too. sweatdrop

My 4:th self portrait. About one evening in Photoshop (spent a great deal of it chatting with friends to so it is maybe 2h drawing time wink )

tarindur, your portrait is fabbitty fab fab!!! and might i add that you're quite nice to look at. wink

and evengale: if your beautiful picture truly looks like you then we are most definitely twin sisters separated at birth. you're not a december baby, are you? that would just be scandalous.

additionally, i've been looking at this thread for a while and i'd really like to post something but it's not exactly working for me. i'm hoping i figure it out eventually...but i certainly will not be putting any of the glorious pictures on here to shame.
