It's not your style, you have no understanding of human anatomy whatsoever. In order to stylize a human being, you have to understand how one is built first. No one thinks you're trying to draw realism, we understand that you're drawing cartoons. It's just that you're not drawing good cartoons because you don't understand realism.

@ OP: I took a look at your whole DA gallery and I can see you're making this your style. It definitely reminds be of being a child when it was just pure imagination and there were no limitations to what a human could look like. It's definitely very whimsical and enjoyable.

Critique should be harsh. Growing as an artist is just like exercising. If it doesn't hurt then you won't develop the proper muscles needed.

We all start out thinking that we are the best artists and everyone will throw roses at our feet. That attitude is poison to your self development. It takes HARSH criticism to shock us out of that mode of thought.

Every artist has room to improve.

The best artists are the ones who look at what they did last week and say, "This sucks. I must improve".

The worst artists are the ones who say, "This doesn't suck, it is just my style."

Style is never a replacement for substance. Study anatomy. Learn how to draw a realistic human. Then you can play around with 'style'.

looking at your gallery, i think with some studying your work could be really damn sick.
but frankly, this scared the s**t out of me.
when i see this, i don't think human. i think salad fingers.
and i know, this has like, no resemblance to salad fingers at all. just gives the same vibe.

they all look kind of dead-eyed, and the way they're -all- standing straight and have the creepy long necks makes it really scary. ;.;
