Wow, all of this "critique" is harsh. I definitely think you all can be nicer int he way that you word things.
Critique should be harsh. Growing as an artist is just like exercising. If it doesn't hurt then you won't develop the proper muscles needed.
We all start out thinking that we are the best artists and everyone will throw roses at our feet. That attitude is poison to your self development. It takes HARSH criticism to shock us out of that mode of thought.
Every artist has room to improve.
The best artists are the ones who look at what they did last week and say, "This sucks. I must improve".
The worst artists are the ones who say, "This doesn't suck, it is just my style."
Style is never a replacement for substance. Study anatomy. Learn how to draw a realistic human. Then you can play around with 'style'.
