Well dayum I had no idea about that.. but still.. mmm *w*. I'd love to do that costume D: but I'm too heavy for it *emo*.


I'll do it some day D8.... I don't think I'll be making cosplay for a long time after this past really sucky convention. I'll probably just sell my art only next year and dreads ;~;.

Then again, I have seen some really well done cosplay of Jrockers from heavier people. I guess we just have to make sure we refrain from, uh, "revealing" outfits o__o;

Yes o_o;. The convention is already over.. it was really sucky this year because people kind of treated me like crud.. so I'm uncertain if I am returning next year or not... (even though I've been attending for years...) The convention is ACen, I live in Chicago, maybe you've heard of it? Maybe not. I plan on trying to go to A-kon next year. Hopefully that is DX. Also, yes o_o. I make dread falls/ cyber lox.. I only did it this year for my own wig/ self, but they aren't too hard.. just very time consuming and can be painful on the hands and shoulders. But I was thinking of possibly making a few falls and selling them off with some foam falls and my art most likely.. and a few other random accessories. I figure it doesn't hurt to try you know?

Yeah for sure, I never make 'revealing' costumes. I've done a few jrock cosplays that were just jump suits, and then this year I did a complicated one... but I think I'm done with cosplay for a while now until I can shed some poundage DX.

I've always thought about making some and cornrowing my hair and hooking them in but everytime I try to make some they fail >_<
I bought synthetic hair while in the states once for making dreads (black, really kinki hair) but I lost all six bags ;w; They have to be in my house somewhere but I can't find them T___T;

Who'd you cosplay~? biggrin The only bands that I can think off on the top of my head that used jumpsuits was PLC?

If you don't have a photoshop on your PC you can check out oekaki boards, that's what I used to learn from for years before getting a decently proper photoshop.
I used oekakicentral.com myself, but there's oodles of sites out there to chose from ^_^

Hmnnn... well I can link you to a really cheap site? It's pretty easy... just time consuming. It really helps to invest in a hand held steamer <3. Double steaming helps too, as well as making sure you back comb your dread enough so that you can stick your finger in it and be able to drag any hair down. My wig came out funny looking and I don't really like it XD but here it is. I'm just going to make more and learn from my mistakes. I accidentally started from the bottom of the wig and went to the top and I didn't have enough short dreads and to many long <3.

:O you can kinda see my costume in the back ground there XDD. It was Eiji from CodomoA/ Kibuya Honpo. I don't ever recall PLC having jump suits? I did Hitsugi from Sendai Kamotsu. (Nightmare) As well as Angel Taka from NOIZ. DX No more vinyl costumes for me.. ugh they drive me mad.

Oh! The swirled ones? Those are just two back combed pieces, dreaded and swirled into one and sealed <3. They are pretty easy after you get the hang of it, like I said before, just time consuming DX <3.

It's worth practicing considering people make a lot of money off them <3. I have fun with them and usually just use them for myself or presents for people. :3

It's okay D:... I know how it's easy to fall out.. I get really irritated by the fan faggotry x_o;.
