I can't really see them, so it's kind of hard to critique them.

One thing I can say though is avoid using lined paper when drawing. It ruins the artwork. Also, get a better camera for uploading the pictures or use a scanner. xp

The no was, dont line in sharpies for anime style, especially on notebook paper, use a black colour pencil or an india ink pen, or even a micron, or hell a bic, as they're good for texture.

But on that note i hate the paper shes using anyway.

I love those.

I agree though. The paper she's using is bad for drawing. OP, you should try to get some printer paper or a sketch pad.

I also feel the style is very generic and bland, but I'd probably be hypocritical for saying that since I have an anime-esque style as well. At least I try to develop it though. xp

True, but if you get the perfect extra thin sharpie it works wonders. 4laugh
Yeah. The paper is a huge turn off.
I also use black colored pencil myself.
Try buying a sketch pad or just plain old computer paper. (:

For a sharpie one would actually use bristol, or any other heavy inks like that, one should use bristol.
