I only have the crappy-rip-off-comes-with-tablet elements adobe pohotoshop, so yeah, that's what I use. Not as many features as the realy adobe hasx.x

you should still be able to set the layer to multiply. i really wouldn't know though, since i've never used PS elements

Blah, I've tried that before, the white in the multiplyed layer isn't trancparent. I think I have to figure out to do something with mask or something,

there is a way to color under lineart, if there's a magic wand tool, you can click the black and go to select>similar and then go select>inverse and press delete that should get rid of all the white. I'm not sure how reliable it is with a pencil sketch though.

Coloring under lineart in PS.

Select all.
Copy > Cut.
Create a new layer... and paint fill it black.
Select the "Quick Mask Mode" button on the tool bar.
(it's a button with square with a circle in it)

Paste.
Revert to "Standard Mode"
(right next to "Quick Mask" wink
Delete.
Deselect.

The lineart will be on a new layer if you do this right, and you can then color underneath it on a separate layer.

You know, I actually knew how to do that already but for some reason I never thought to. Which is kinda suprising given how much I enjoy using colored lines instead of black.
