OP, everyone has potential. How good you become depends on how hard you work. Like everyone else said, anatomy is the key here. These books are free and they're also a great starting point.

As for the potential bit, that kind of depends on how hard you're willing to work at it. I think most people start at about your level, or even worse. xD
