Please list the positive and the negative about them. Also by the way, please do not tell me about the surface the bag and pencil are on. I know it looks bad and might or might not be fixed later. I haven't decided. But that is just the obvious.
If you see only negative details on the pictures, list them anyways. Same as positive. I need opinions. Thank you!

They both look too flat. The shading is too light, and the blending is... well, bad.

The drawings are poor. You need to create better contrast and darken shadows, try to keep the edges of the objects understandable and sharp too.

To add, you really shouldn't be shading anything if your structures aren't together. The skull needs some basic structural work, as does the pen.

Well, you have an ok base drawing started, I'd keep practicing and work on the shading. ^^

The shading is definitely off, learn to shade gradualy (darker to lighter) and dear lord dont even THINK about smudging with your finger! The oils in your finger go to your painting and it just looks awful!

The skull's jaw goes down further than the chin.
And it's already been established about the shading and other things.
