Critique my design?

I'm a part of the 100 day challenge on the art collectors guild and I drew this for day 32 "fire breather." I guess I personally liked the overall idea but I want some C&C on the design of the character overall since I do plan to do a redraw.

ANY tips on hands/anatomy would be much loved *A*

Because I was trying to find an inconspicuous way to draw without my calc teacher noticing >.> ............and I was out of white paper at the time.

Edit for your edit: Ha...................that must have been when I stopped paying attention to facial anatomy out of frustration with the hands

I really liking those fluid lines and sharpness of everything. But yes, the eyes are a bit too close together. I think the ear not facing the viewer should be a bit smaller and positioned a bit higher up his head.

I don't see much that says 'fire breather' in this but it's still a neat design.
