So I drew this in Paint Tool SAI.
Its my cat gypsy, in the snow.
Her arms are ment to be folded under her chest like cats do when they lay down.
Man wish I could color like that!
I'm not sure why you cropped half of the ear off; it looks a little strange. The ground is also not just one shade of brown, ad some darker shades and different types of brown to give it some more depth.

I think it would be very beneficial to do some cat studies of structure and proportions. Since you have a cat, it would be a great idea to some some sketches from life. I know you're aiming for a cartoon version of a cat, but even cartoon animals are influenced by the real thin. Studying the real animal will give your drawings much more believability. Even great Disney animators study real animals for their cartoons.

Alright, just be sure to sketch out the composition next time so everything fits well on the canvas.
I love cats, this is awesome.

This is a critqiue forum. For pointing out things that don't work and giving advice on how to fix it. The cropping is something that isn't working well with the image they gave advice on how to fix it. I don't see what wrong with point out the "smallest things" in a critique forum.

It's just an art form, so calm yourself with these "facts."
She had already stated that "she ran out of room on the canvas." Maybe she didn't want to go through the trouble of moving everything. Maybe she wanted to have the cat more off center. Do you complain when a drawing shows half a face? Why complain with just a little of the ear, it's fine, seriously.
It frustrates me when it's said "Artists may draw how they please," Then get critiques on every last thing.

Why is everyone acting like this today? Not trying to be rude I'm sorry if it sounds like I am, but if the OP doesn't like the suggestions she's getting she does not have to listen to them. She put her work up for comments and she's getting them. She doesn't have to take every last one seriously and change every little thing. They're things to take into possible consideration for her next work.

I understand this, really, but it's a bit frustrating when all people care about is fixing it to how they like it, when it's the original person's work, so it should be how said person likes it. She just wanted to show people, really. Not show people with a big stamp of "Here tell me how to fix it to your own liking instead of mine."
She already stated why the ear was off, yet it's still brought up, so pardon me, it's just a little annoying.

i moved it over on purpose, originally it was drawn in the center, so i didnt feel I wanted the ear in the picture anymore. I got abit lazy in the end, but i like the outcome. resizing takes too long, and you have to stretch the image in the program I use, then it looks all distorted in the end

although what you say is correct, i dont understand why the ear should be picked out. Im not taking critique poorly, im just saying that it isnt correct. It just has a piece cropped off into the end of the canvas. there isnt anything wrong with part of the picture not fitting in the overall canvas, as long as it is in the correct spot for anatomy.
