I figured you guys would have 10 pages for each day I wasn't here.

Honestly, i'm really pretty dissapointed in how much pointless chatting, 'bumping' (not that it says bump, but it's the kind of one-word/one-sentence post that is usually used to bump a thread to the top), and really lazy, incomprehensible art there's been the last two days.
I don't mean to be a b***h and harp on this issue again, but the vast majority of you guys posting aren't even really trying. If everyone would just slow down, take a deep breath, and put some effort into it, you all wouldn't need to sacrifice your drawing ability in order to post faster, because there would be fewer spam posts. It would improve the quality of the entire thread for everyone.

You do not need to bump this thread to keep it alive, because it is a sticky. It will stay on top with or without chatting.

If you're sick of how fast this thread is moving and you want some really high quality fighting, it starts with individually putting more effort into your own work. If everyone does it, this thread can be awesome. If not...
Well, I honestly don't have the time to dig through seven pages of hyperactive laziness just to find one or two quality posts. I have work, school, commissions, presents to make, scholarships applications (and that's not mentioning the other stuff i'd like to do in my free time) that merit more attention. I wanted to be a part of this thread because I thought it was wonderful, and I have all the faith in the world that it could be if everyone just slowed the hell down. But that doesn't mean that I can stick around if things continue to go on like this.

My frustration isn't directed at everyone or even anyone in particular- several of you are really putting in time, thought, and effort. But the vast majority of you seem to have the wrong idea about what this thread is. To my understanding, it isn't the chatterbox- it's a thread for artists to challenge each other with their gaia avatars. As an artist, I know that the only way to make anything decent (no matter your skill level), you have to put some time into it.
So please, for the love of god, take it upon yourselves to salvage this thread- each and every one of you.
