It's not cut off, it's drawn to the edge.... emotion_awesome
I get lazy sometimes :T
" Her arm seems really small at the top. Like forearm part? "
Your coloring is phenomenal. You could blur some places a bit more though, for a softer look.

Your lineart is well-formed, but a bit shaky and thick. Try using a smaller brush (or use pressure sensitivities) and quicker strokes.

That's all I can see. Your anatomy is perfect and overall this is a very great drawing.

her tail is very oddly flat. like it has no bones. remember that a tail is just the extension of the spine and curves similarly.

...i'm gonna be frank. it's really obvious you copied a picture. the anatomy is great wherever it'd be human, but when you added things like the tail and wings and tried to change her arm a bit, it shows. there's two totally different skill sets going on here. one is due to the tracing and the other is where you added your own stuff.
Wow, I really love the design idea you have going, unfortunately, the coloring and anatomy doesn't give your piece any justice(If thats the right word).

Your anatomy isn't horrible, but its enough to make it look off, also, try to draw her in the center of the image, then crop off the side, so you dont cut off any of her body, it looks very bad if it's cut off.

Work on your shading and highlighting, dont just use black and white(Even if she is supposed to be black) , it make sit a whole lot more interesting.

Edit: Also, you should make your lines thinner, or not there at all, with that style of shading.

...Excuse me? are you accusing me of copying?
:T
I do NOT copy, all poses I use are from my head, it may be similar to something you've seen.
But I did NOT copy, and I'm rather offended that you are saying I did. Would you like to see my PSD file, I have no problem shoving it in your face that I didn't copy.
I do not copy, so shove it.

Thanks and yeah I've been messing with purples, and blues for shading instead of black.
Still getting use to the whole digital art, and the lines are all shaky due to a medical condition with my wrists, though a friend informed me that SAI has a nifty little line adjustment tool which would make things so much easier.
I do not see two different styles in my artwork.
Love it when people just assume things.
I could probably pull up a hundred images that are similar to this pose.
Tracing is for people who do not appreciate art and have no talent, only to make a quick buck or a crappy fan-art for 10 minutes of a spotlight.

I for one can say without an un-bias answer considering the fact that its done for my
girlfriend, that it is a great piece of work. You haven't traced anything yet so far from what you've
worked on and as a dedicated artist, I doubt you would. Being a artist myself I can tell the depths
of what has been put into the art piece and considering it took you quite a bit to get it done xD..
I'd say that I can vouch for you in stating that your work is not traced

Considering I saw her start this piece on her OWN. She didn't even look at anything, she just did it right there and then.
