Tricks you use to get your dog/cat to drink their water

i dont have issues with my cats drinking. the problem i have is them drinking form my fishbowls instead of the three bowls i have set out for them. they never hurt my fish but it still makes me super nervous. so now i just have covers on all my bowls. which i usually do anyway since i cant count how many fish ive lost to jumping.

I make sure to clean out and refill my water bowl everyday.
I also add water to her nighttime kibble meal (about 4Tbsp for her 1/4C. of kibble).

When she was having issues peeing, I added the water from a can of tuna to her smaller water bowl. (It was either a UTI or FLUTD; but she didn't have anything in her bladder so the vet couldn't test, and we just treated for both)
