Rabbit Emergency! HELP.

It's my friend's rabbit. Actually, he FOUND it on the street because someone lost it. It's obviously domesticated and wasn't lost for long. He's had it...for about a three months and there was no problems with it.
It's a floppy eared bunny.

Now it's shaking really badly.
I don't know what to do.

Any ideas what the problem could be? I don't own any rabbits so I wasn't much help for him. Is there no choice, but to see a vet?
The rabbit's diet (as he put it) is, "pellets, vegetables".

Rabbit is having unusual amounts of fur loss AND seizing?

What conditions is it in? For instance; bedding, size of cage, does it get outside of the cage for play a couple hours a day, and does it have toys in the cage?

I'm not with him right now. He just said it was shaking.

Bedding: bad condition, he admits he doesn't clean it as much as he should.
Size: Large cage.
I know he lets it out to play, but I'm not sure if he does so daily or not.
No toys.
It keeps biting it's leg/foot area.

did it all fall out at once, or gradually?
if it's biting at its legs and that's where the hair loss is, it might have mites or a parasite.

But by the way he was talking I think he means gradually, he was like, "it's losing more fur than usual".
