So, a while back I had planned to get three crested geckos. I have a large, large cage. I suppose you could call it 50 gallons. It's custom built; a 30 gallon and a 20 gallon fused, so it's higher on the back. It's pretty large.
Well, I realize getting multiple cresteds is not such a good idea. I wanted to be able to tell them all apart, and the only cresties I can find are all standard breed and very, very expensive.
I know that males don't do well together and the females were almost $100.
So I was wondering if I can get away with maybe two leopard geckos in this 50 gallon enclosure.
I know leopard geckos are usually solitary but if I had two female geckos, in this large enclosure, with enough hide spots, would they do okay?
Problem is I really want to use this cage and it's stupid as hell to have one tiny gecko in such a large cage and two would be nice.
The cage was custom built for me and I'd rather use it instead of just buying another cage that's average.
