i want a bunny too, but i want a super tiny one. no more than a foot in length, preferably 6-9 inches. and pure white or pure black. straight ears, not floppy. that would be just the cutest thing EVER.

Some rabbits are so easily prone to different illnesses. I always tell people, don't buy a rabbit just 'cause it's cute. Look at the information and details of having one first. Always, always, always I have people telling me their baby rabbit has the runs. Then they tell me his diet consists of straw and greens. And I just--- emotion_0A0

Agreed on the potential for health issues- especially with Holland Lops, they're particularly prone to teeth problems due to the shape of their skulls.

I've had my Holland for 3 and a half years, and he's already cost us hundreds of pounds in vet bills- not just with the cost of neutering and vaccinations, but he's also had an endless parade of gut problems and we've had to pay for all kinds of treatments and tests. And he's still only young- we expect he'll likely get worse as he gets older.

BUT... he's a fabulous little pet full of personality, and he's worth every penny. heart

OP: I highly recommend looking into keeping your rabbit indoors, if you can. Ours is litter trained and hops freely about the house- it's the cutest thing! It also means that he's very well socialised and not at all skittish. He really feels like part of the family.
(You do have to watch out for them stealing human food and destroying wires though!)
