I'm starting a fish keeping blog focused on my tanks, general fish keeping, care profiles, and a fish of the week kind of thing. Here's where you guys come in.. I need pictures of different species and I'd rather not randomly pull them off google..

smile I just got my pleco, and I'm totally in love with him. Lol. I keep thinking I'll just skip on doing much else and keep him around as my main attraction. (They get fairly big as it is.)

I know alot of people consider my snails pest /shrug/. I thought they were super cheap and cute.

Snails are super cute. I've thought about grabbing some tiger snails for my tanks or some blue mystery snails.

Would you want pics of a blood parrot? Some people are kind of skeptical of this fish o_O But I do have a series of photos that show the color changes they go through from juvenile-adolescent-adult, which I think are nifty.

Thank you! 4laugh I'm quite proud of him, as when he came to me he looked like this:



Literally all I did was provide clean water, warm temps (82* F), and added some aquarium salt until the fin rot healed. He also gets plenty of frozen foods like bloodworms, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp, so I think the extra protein helps keep fins nice.

Unfortunately he is a tail biter, so his tail rarely stays that nice. I think all the finnage gets too cumbersome for him, because every time it starts looking nice like that, shortly thereafter he bites a lot of it off. evil
