I have also started a discussion here: Got Tons of Orbs? We Need a Shop! There you will find people's ideas regarding the possibility of a shop. Also, if you would like to discuss/debate on this idea, please go there.
Although Orbs are free in zOMG, we don't particularly need the Devs, who have been reassigned to other projects, to create the shop.
Why do we need an Orbs Shop?
Like many of us who are avid zOMG players, our orbs count have reached in the thousands. They are collecting virtual dust, with absolutely know use for them since all our rings are at CL 10! ***This is NOT a shop to buy/sell orbs***
Even if the Devs are back (and we are counting down the days till their return) to working on zOMG updates/new levels, what better way to attract additional players then to create exclusive, awesome items that are bought by orbs only. We've seen such shops as Prize & Joy and The Treehouse. The Orbs Shop can be mimicked in the same way.
Links within zOMG itself can lead to the Orbs Shop for quick access within the game.
What are the possible items sold in the Shop?
We can easily bounce ideas off one another about possible shop items. Naturally, new releases of rings can be sold in this store. But, other items that can be equipped should be sold there too. Equipped items include having items resemble our rings. As an added feature, some of these items can be animated in the same way.
Who will run the Shop?
The devs did take the time to rearrange some of the shop owners and revamp the shops a while back, so instead of creating a brand new character, it makes more sense to have Nicolae as the owner. He already runs Back Alley Bargains, which is a shop dedicated to zOMG powerups and items, used within the game. His store can get expanded to include great items purchased with orbs.
