From Full Moon wo Sagashite. He doesn't have real wings because he is a Shinigami in training...so he has a back pack with wings on it...kinda like training wheels I guess. Hold on, I'll get a pic for you.

That's Takuto. ^ It doesn't really look like the wings are attached to the back pack but when he takes it off, you can see the wings are attached to the back pack.

Nope, you're right. Shinigami means 'death god'. He's just a shinigami who deals with children. His partner wears red/pink in the anime. He also turns into a really cute stuffed kitty (his partner turns into a cute stuffed bunny).

I don't get the mini angel wing part... sweatdrop you would expect them to have demon wings or something but they don't. None of the shinigami in the show have demon wings.
