I signed. It'd be nice if there was a way for one IP address to vote at a time. Some people have multiple accounts and will use that ability to troll. I also like the idea of having only so many dislikes. Some people feel that it damages another's reputation.

The </3 button is absurd. The way people are using it is hurtful and by reading over quotes is obviously hurting peoples business, especially in the shops. I personally have not had a topic </3'd (as far as I know at least) but if one of my topics was </3'd I know it would sting. I agree with the removing the </3 button and leaving the <3. If you like a thread then by all means give it a <3 but letting people ruin threads and shops for absolutly no reason by using </3 is hurtful, and only gives trolls another way of going about their business. Removing the </3 button is the way to go unless Gaia is going to remove the whole system (which will most likely have a petition started to bring it back. Leaving us all here, again). Who cares if we're like Facebook by only having a <3 (like button)? Facebook is one of, if not THE most popular website of all time right now. Obviously they are doing something right. Why not learn from them and just remove the </3 button? :3

And that would be my opinion of that matter, again I fully support what this petiton is for :3

I sign this petition, the dislike button in the art forums especially either needs to go, or be optional at best. When some troll can just dislike just to dislike, leave, and be a jerk, it can hurt people, maybe it is good in some forums, but NOT in forums like this, I would like there to be some options here.

I think we should have a better report system, i have encountered many gaians who have random selected me as ther main "troll subject" as i have not done anything to them therefor i think we should have MOD's Work on the chat system, if someone would like to converse with someone they should have to click a button on the players "+" and the player being asked to converse would be able to accept/decline the offer otherwise you cannot hear them, thus creating a troll free zone.

***Notice i would like to apply to be a MOD because i enjoy making it a fun and enjoyable environment for all gaians, and i also do not have problems punishing those who do not follow the ToS guidelines.

Please reread the first page carefully and then feel free to edit your post so that it is related to the topic on which this petition addresses.

By not reading the first page carefully you really have not made yourself look like a good candidate for being a moderator.
