I ended up leaving about a year ago, and thought I was gone for good. I just wasn't really interested anymore, I guess.
I came back a couple days ago to get my mind off of some stuff. Throw myself into something, you know?
I hadn't looked at the marketplace at all when I got an announcement for gold to buy via the cash shop. I had rounded up 161GC via watching videos and all a year ago, so I though, why not?
I got 26 or so mill, and was ecstatic. I could only imagine all the things I could buy! The first thing I did was go to tektek to start designing my new, high-budget avi.
Only to discover I had gotten practically nothing. I couldn't buy jack with this much. 26mill was an amount I'd only dreamed of, and now that I had it, it was worth practically nothing.

i leave gaia for about 560 days, give or take (that's when i last changed my avatar). i come back today and look to see how much my stuff is worth... my tiny pixie wings, which i remember being worth about 12-17k, is now worth 373+ MILLION. I have stuff sitting in my inventory worth billions and it just feels like a mess. once again...

I joined in October of 2008 and was active up through 2009 then kinda lost interest and randomly came back in late 2012. I was active on the site until Late 2013...maybe around December. Since then I have been on and off, just dropping by on occasion. In about 3 months I will have my 6th Gaiaversary. I do not plan to spend it on Gaia...

I checked up on my account last month and said to myself..."ya know, I don't really want these hotd anymore...so I sold them...for 18bil. Now i think they're worth almost 10x that within a month's time. This is getting out of hand. Down with the corporation! WE WANT LANZER!
