Sabata's Petition - Guild updates please?

Gaia is a chat site. It is an interest site. Gaia Forums cover the majority of idle chatter. The CB can get quite messy, though.

We pay Gaia for MC's and other stuff in the Cash Shop. Half of the stuff is sold for a hefty gold price (heck, I made 200k by selling a Fallen Wish a while back) anyway. And what do they do for us? They give us updates that, to be honest, are complete crap. I think it's time for an important update: guilds.

Guilds are usually focused around a specific interest, such as Final Fantasy, Role Playing, or... *shudders* Twilight. However, Guilds do have their fair share of chatting. I myself am in four of them that I can remember off the top of my head: PeeGee, Watch the Hammer, Guild of Awesomeness, and The Yellow Butterfly.

Now, to the point: I want to see the guilds get an awesome and useful update, not just a new navigation bar.

If you sign, you will have shown your support, and we will be closer to seeing some USEFUL updates in the future.

Some ideas I've run into exploring other petitions for the same thing are: a Newest Reply for Subforums, New Post indicators for Subforums, Subscribing to topics in Guilds, Guild Topic searching, and deletion of unused Subforums. One I'm thinking of is a 'demote'
button under applicable avatars (like, a Crew would only be able to do it to normal Members).



Also, I was hoping maybe Gaia could think of some others!

Feedback: Agreed. Gaia's ignored the guild system for far too long--it deserves some long-overdue updates as well.

What sort of updates did you have in mind? Guilds do need an update, but a petition asking for an "awesome and useful update" is really vague and isn't giving the devs anything to work off of.

I want to be able to use the formats I could use in posts in the regular forums in guilds, ferdef. (It's a lame that we cannot use the same codes in Guilds. Seriously.)
That, and I wish I could have subforum moderators.

...Maybe a way to officially affiliate?
