Petition to Update fishing items

Gaia fishing is a game of its own, the game has gone over several security updates, how ever the items and fish have not, the last item update was in 2006(over 3 years ago) it is time for an update to the items, from items granted by trading fish to releasing the angelic rod.
The game lets you change fish for head items(helms eyes) but the potential for expansion has not been reached.
That is the purpose of this petition, to get the items from the game fishing updated, if you agree that more itmes should be added please sign this petition.
I will update it as often as possible and will be willing to ad examples of exchange rates and items as I see them in the thread.

The site has changed and the only things that get regular updates seem to be items that are baough with .

In our latest posts, we didn't suggest that anything would be featured in the cash inventories of the shops.." I am going back over some posts now to make sure this assumption is not erroneous"..
for example..
Fishing Item #1 can be purchased only from Cash Shop
Fishing Item #2 can be purchased with either cash or gold
**some items may be seasonal..as you have said before** or
**some items may be associated with rare events**

I personally think that releasing the Angelic rod through the Gaia cash shop would benefit every one, or through Logan's shop but only for like zOMG power ups that are only sold for they would be available to everyone via MP.
Another suggestion and one I have never heard by Zack_the_Wolf

Maybe add some rare random events that happen while you fish - events that you HAVE to respond to. The variance would stop a LOT of botters (Runescape already uses this concept). Some ideas might be... line tangled in seaweed - you need to move the rod back and forth quickly for a few seconds to untangle it.
Or seagulls start bothering you, you have to yell at them (text wouldn't be in chat) a few times (using something similar to captcha) to get them to go away. You might get a few gull feathers from this event that could be used in new fishing items.
Note that these events would only occur after a cast (if the event is going to occur, no fish will be hooked the cast, so these events would not make anyone lose a catch). That way, if someone walked away from fishing halfway through a bucket, they wouldn't get a random event they wouldn't have the chance to respond to.
I think it's a great way to add a little more interest to the game while throwing botters a curveball, and opening the door for new items to be added that could be used in new fishing items.

   ....Tin tie Clasps .. decorative hairPins. and Scale ornaments for existing Tin Hat.
   
2. .Rubber/and, or/scaled designer's vest, rubber safety-floaties and safety-vest
   
3. .Rubber/and, or/scaled slippers/shoes,
   
4. .rubber raincoat, thigh-high biker boots,(accessorized with scales, tin,
   ....fishbones, and whiskers, fins
   
5. .rubber toys, like a rubber boat, fish, pool(housing/equippable)
   
6. .rubber basin (for soaking feet), rubber mats, rubber chairs, lounges
   
7. .Tin/rubber slides (use in housing deck area/equippable)
   
8. .rubber patches (for selling to car owners to repair worn tires)
   
9. .tin cups/plates/fork sets/separates..(equippable and Housing Items)
   
10. .Display Items: (not for in-game uses)
    ....Compass, Harpoon, Fish Mounts, Gear Box(open or closed), Display-Rods

I would also like to see the Pier/deck area changed to reflect the background of the Overview Scene.. that is... to show other Yachts/boats that have the function of allowing us to see who are in other servers in the same Location..then we could know right away where our friends are or where we are when we are about to refreshed our game page..( a lot of times the room is moved while we are fishing)
