I always get worried I'm going to miss an important announcement.

My concern here is that "Store Alerts," would apply to announcements for both cash shops and gold shops. I would not want them lumped together.

However, I do like the idea of having Announcements broken down into different categories.

Well the frequency of gold shop announcements right now is almost none. If they ever implemented an idea like this, I doubt they would separate the two so as not to clutter the "Hey, I've got..." popup.
