This Petition is more of a double Petition. One for these item, and second for them to light up.
I like the idea of Candles and Paper Lanterns that both can be held by your avi, or placed in your home for decor. And both would glow where ever placed on your avi or home. And would come in a variety of colors. Nothing too fancy, just the basic colors:Red Orange Yellow Green Teal Blue Purple Pink White and Black.
You could perhaps have your paper lanterns assembled from paper trash you find around in towns <this suggestion is from Dead Berry Jam, thnk u! The only place to have them made would most likely be the Trash Exchange by Peyo at the Gambino Hat Rack. The amount of paper needed is debatable.
The paint could be Ink made from insects you catch. And perhaps you could even use captured Fire Flys to put inside the paper Lanterns to make them glow.<this suggestion is from -x-dizzee-x-, thnku!
You can hold the Lantern by a short stick with would allow them to sway back and forth a bit as you walk, also it can be carried by a net that hangs on your back, on your side, or just by hand. And candles can be held or placed to set atop your head.<this suggestion is from Kolobos_Rayne, thnk u! I dont know how well this would work with hats or masks. Candles can perhaps be sold at the Faktori? I am unsure at this time.
Thnku! Sanity Rain who suggests>that you can have the option to have a few candles float around you. They would work just like the MC item the "Shadow Spirt" in the equip stage "Fire Swarm." He suggested this idea way before that MC was created. Look at the top row, third pic.
I just dont know about the idea of a Candle Trays which was brought up by <Esabelle Ryngin This is a very good idea, but there is so much variety too choose from with mixing and matching tray colors and styles with the candles I personaly dont know how to make it work. But waffle_cookie>suggests that as an option that if Candles were to be sold in shops that you can decied what kind of candle holder you want (if you want one) when you buy the candle.
It would be great if they made different styles and colors of candles. Like a red and black swirl of wax molded into a spiral with a black or red flame, perhaps Demonic candles (black, red, grey, ect) And angelic candles (White, blue, and gold )<this suggestion is from The_Dead_Rabbit(examples will be added soon)
During the night, a small hint of the glow from your Candle or Lantern will light up your face in the dark. And during the day they can just be shown off just for fun. You could pay alot more to have something painted on the lantern, such as Japanese lettering, or of images relivent to Gaia.(Check out the example Below this sentence) These Lanterns would most likey be more expencive and more harder to attain.
This is my first Petition! Any help, and ideas you would like to add are welcomed, and may be added. Including any problems you see in my explanations, or the items funtion. I know my edits look very nice, but if Gaia ever makes there own candles or lanterns, they may look very different, so keep that in mind when, or if you sign.
After two years of petitioning Paper Lanterns were added to the Durem Depot in a Shop Update on April 1st of 2008!
