![]() I am back! Yay! Sorry for being gone for so long. Thanks to the people who offered to take over. I'll be working hard to get everyone's signature on. (: DO NOT QUOTE THE SIGNATURE LIST! Anyone seen doing this WILL get reported, put on the Wall of Shame and you will NOT be added to the Signature list! >< Also, do NOT quote any of the first 8 posts. You will go on my list and won't be able to sign. Please, do NOT PM me if you sign. Having trouble signing petitions? Please see the bottom of this post for a mini tutorial on how to sign a petition, including sites you can use to generate your own signature picture. I DO NOT want RO themed clothing. Anything saying anything about having RO themed clothing is merely a suggestion and has nothing to do with what I am asking for. They are just suggestions that want to be heard. We are supported by the Hidden Village of the Shinobi Guild. Thanks, guys! <3 Link to the guild in the "Links" section. A HUGE thank you to the mods for putting up with me and for helping me so much. THANK YOU! <333 ^^; DO NOT QUOTE! One day, while searching through archive.org, I decided to see what good old Gaia Online looked like when it was just born. At that point, a rather large banner caught my eye. The items in this banner were SPECTACULAR. There was also a much smaller picture of a boy dressed as a mage and a girl dressed as a thief. I was a bit confused as to why they were not yet on the site. Were these items long forgotten? I decided to ask people’s opinions on these mythical items. All of the feedback I received was very positive. Thus, I decided to start a petition. ![]() ![]() Lestelle Here's another image of old Gaia. ![]() After all, who doesn’t want to look like a knight or a thief? Who wouldn’t want to be a mage, warrior or medieval priest? Not only that, but it would be a perfect edition to the upcoming battle and quest systems. Also, there is no copyright infringement because they are original drawings done by the creators. (Maybe we should also have a Hammi Plushie? ) Index: Post 1: Intro Post 2: Examples/Suggestions Post 3: News Post 4: Banners/Links Post 5-6: Signatures Post 7: Wall of Shame Post 8: Reserved This petition is dedicated to my wonderful thread helper whom without him I would be nothing and this petition would not exist. Love you OkamiReaper! A few things I'd like to mention ( AKA, the rules x.x;; ) : > Please don't PM me if you sign. Post here and I will definatly find it. > Do PM me if you'd like me to add your banners on here. Don't advertise in the thread. x.x; > If you want to make avatar edits, it would have to be for free. I haven't enough gold to pay. You will get full credit for it, though. > I don't post signature pictures, but I will post a link. I'm sorry. sweatdrop > If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, post them and I'll add you and your suggestion up here. > PLEASE, post something about how you agree to sign. I don't know if you've agreed to sign or not if you tell me my idea is good and don't say anything about signing. ><;; > I never mentioned this before because I didn't think it would come up, but, please don't quote the first 7 posts. If someone does this, I will have to report for page stretching. T-T > Sign only once, please. ^^ > All rude comments will be ignored. ^o^ > No page stretching. That is all. Due to an amount of PMs I have recieved, I have decided to make this mini tutorial for the folks who are somewhat confused about the petition signing process. How to Sign a Petition Three Ways to Sign a Petition on Gaia Online ->Create a new post that has the words, "I sign" or any variation of that phrase. A simple, yet effective way to sign a standard petition. ->An alternative way of signing would be using an image that has your screen name on it and states that you sign. If you're unsure of what I mean, look below. Examples: ![]() (Made in MSPaint)A few good sites to generate such signatures*: Blinkiebabe.com Glittermaker.com 123glitter.com Cooltext.com Fodey.com Glitterkiss.com Blinkyou.com *These sites do have limits on how many characters (letters/numbers) you can use on them. Of course, you can also make your own. Programs such as Photoshop or MSPaint would be ideal for doing this. ->Another way of signing is simply quoting a person who has already said they sign. Though it may not be the most effective way to sign, it is still acceptable in most petitions. Many petition makers may prefer a less vague indication of your support. What not to do: ->Do not quote the signature list! This makes the thread maker's job of searching for signature's much harder. Not only that, but it stretches the page. Doing this may cause you to get reported. ->Do not PM signatures unless the petition creator instructs that it is ok. It's a hassle to add signatures from PMs and from posts. Generally, just posting your signature in the thread will get you on the list. Suggestions are always appreciated in petitions. Never think your suggestion is too stupid to be considered. Some people may like your ideas and most petition creators are very open to suggestions. This mini tutorial is free for use if anyone is interested in including it in their petitions. Please do give credit by leaving the images in it, though. PM your feedback. <3 |
