Here's an idea.
They should just try for a week (month, more maybe?) to have a 'Blast to the Past' event.
They can advertise it, make the layout have additional features of course to fit every new thing they've added.
But have the general look and feel of what it use to look like when I first joined...back a good 5+ years ago.
Maybe if they did put a holster on alot of new 'projects' they've been working on, and stopped for a little while trying to attract new people, and focused a little bit more on deleting accounts that haven't been used in 6 years, and trying to make it harder to make mules (e.g. a limit of 10 accounts per I.P address, maybe 15) maybe they wouldn't have such an issue with so many things. They need to put priorities straight, and instead of focusing on the hundreds of little issues, they should try target some of the larger issues giving way to the smaller ones.
And while things may slow down for awhile, and you may have more issues for a while, the end result would be worth it.
I realize this is hard to do, as you need the money. But think back to when gaia was still moderately smaller. When the biggest think of the week was if you could manage to make a new 'total online' record. There was less people, less expenses, less mules, etc.
I just have no interest in gaia any more.
I use to be able to enjoy a good roleplay, but now now there is hardly anyone interested in them, and their popularity is shrinking. Being tossed into the flood of annoying pointless threads that people start just to try get a shred of attention.
I'm (obviously) in favor of trying to go back to the older gaia. Even if we do it slowly.
