Seriously, it's sad that the My Gaia page has lost it's originality and that whoever created it simply copied an idea created by Facebook. At least on FB you can change your privacy settings and only allow your friends to see certain things, but it's still annoying as hell.

As for the other features, I find the redundancy of them pointless.. The second toolbar? It's completely useless to me. I'm still using the tabs at the top since I never have problems with them. (Although I do like the tab highlighting feature. That's a nice USEFUL addition.) A second toolbar is redundant.

And really the "To-Do" list would only be worth having if users can customize it. I don't need to "Learn to Earn", "Find Friends", "Post in the Forums", or "Check Out the Monthly Collectibles" etc, etc... I've been on the site since March 05. I already know how to do those things and did them before that list was added to the page. Sure someone else might, a new user for instance, but how about an updated New User Quest that explains those things instead? We have the "Need Gold?" button as well. A new quest and the button would be sufficient. Redundant list is redundant.

I agree this new change is just too much this change shouldve never happened. In my opinion they should change it back as soon as humanly possible.

I sign.I remember when it was a lot simpler. I've been here since the year after it first started the monthly collectibles. I believe they are making the changes to appeal to the Face Book and MySpace generations, possibly to make more money... it's sad what popularity can do to something that was once so honest about s**t.
