I don't think you people understand that this is a large high-maintenance site that costs millions of dollars to maintain every month. This site doesn't get as much investments in stock as other sites like myspace and facebook. Hell these guys spend 1 mil on electricity alone. Add that to the employee wages, medical coverage, costs for bandwith, etc. and that's a buttload of money. Considering that gaia is actually losing money every month at the moment I think that the price for gaia's items is very reasonable. I mean think about it. Spending real money on gaia is optional and you don't have to buy if you don't want to. You don't have to pay every month like a bunch of other sites I've seen. I'm surprised you people can complain about something that gaia is doing for everyone's good and call it "unfair". Gaia is not making any money at the moment. They aren't even breaking even. If they didn't sell things in the gaia cash shop, this site would be down in a matter of months. You people just don't appreciate gaia for what their objective is. Plus their staff is limited to only about 100 people and by staff I mean people they pay to fix the system and make new features for gaia. More mods won't fix the system any faster because they don't do anything to help with the technical stuff. All they do is enforce gaia's rules and make sure that people on the site aren't violating the ToS. Gaia needs the money more than you guys do because they are trying to keep this site up in order to keep hundreds of thousands if not millions of people happy. Once again I can't believe you people would even think that gaia is selling stuff for their own personal gain. You people disgust me.

I agree with Maui boy no ka oi.. It is like any other online game. You have to pay to play. Think of wow the most played MMO. You have to pay money to play it. You can also use the money to buy useful things like clothing. I think you are all jealous you can't EARN you gold to buy stuff in the MP that you usual get in the Gaia cash shop. I really don't get why you are all complaining. It's like every other business out there. Just don't buy anything if you don't want to instead of making a big mess out of it.So why don't you go buy yourself a nice shirt at their Gaia store you ignorant complaining cows and help out the staff pay for their bills and food;D
