	I do agree to have to pay for various things in various games, but Gaia needs money to pay all these things : - Server (( Yeah, to have a website, you have to PAY ! )) - Upgrades (( Yeah, the bigger the website gets, the more expensive the server gets... )) - Money for them to live (( You think they only need to update, they need food and water too... )) - And we pay for lil' things so we keep Gaia Online free of charge and so we all can enjoy it... if we don't pay, then we, in the future, have to pay just to even be in the forums or doing something...

I would think that they themselves have another job than just running gaia so I think it is safe to say they don't need the money for living just to keep the website going
