I imagine that if Gaia created a Dream Avatar application, they probably wouldn't be able to name it Tektek, since that could be considered someone else's Intellectual Property, which is the whole (legal) reason that Tektek is being taken down.

But I'm all for Gaia creating a new Dream Avatar & Item Database, and I would love it if they would update it daily.

I DabChan would like to sign this petition. I can understand tektek was using trademarked material that wasnt approved by Gaia but they need to embrace tektek and all that they have done for Gaia! It doesnt seem right to just shut the whole thing down...

Also, good point to make, if Gaia does create something like this, and put item they sell in the cash shop in it, maybe during, or a few days before the release and mark it somehow...
Now, that person puts on that item and finds they REALLY want that avi, with that specific item...
They might just feel more inclined to buy it...
