Items That Still Need Unisexing
With the unisex project underway, we can safely say that some day we'll be seeing these wearable by both genders. We'll note a couple here that also have a significant gender difference. I know that I dont have all the items, if you want me to add one post it.
Peasant Gloves
Supposedly these were unisexed... but they don't show up on males.
Skull biker

Supposedly the set was unisexed, girls can only wear the helmits.
Gung Xi Set

There are few things to note. Male is blue, female is magenta. The male shirt doesn't have a belt, and lacks cleavage. The female pants are longer, with ankle bands, and the shoes are completely different. Ideally when these are unisexed, both versions would be available for both genders.
The Blue, Brown, and Purple Hats

These hats come from the shadowy past of Gaia. They're so old, people are finding them in archealogical digs. They stand as evidence of the first signs of the gender fusion in items on Gaia: not only are they different on different genders, theres another set of hats exactly like the female version that are female only.
Arm and knee pads
Gaia seems to think girls don't fall down..
Fatty
Gaia's way of saying no fat chicks? Or that only white people can be chubby?
Phat Sweaters

All of these are good colours, and should be available for both genders.
Wooden sandals
Very different items.
Items with Gender Differences
The items listed below have differences between genders that are so noticable, having both options available would please a lot of people. Whether you want to play up a gender trait or assume a completely different body shape, these items offer something we feel would be unfair to restrict to a single gender.
Alruna's Rose Corset No. 2

Alruna is a busty girl, so obviously her corset would be made to hold an ample chest. Put it on a man, however, and suddenly it shrinks to fit. Personally I feel to be a little less pleasing to the eye, what with those thorns pointing off in odd directions.
Angelic and Nitemare Sets

The Camisole and the Bustier have yet to be unisexed, but the gloves and boots are wearable by both genders. The boots are cut off on males (I suppose it's manlier?), and the angelic gloves have larger feathers on males (also more manly? Who knows...)
Anima Adamantea Body Suit

A simple case of boobs versus pecs, but it dramatically changes the appearance of the suit.
Captain Ara's Nestegg Swashbuckler's Brocade Waistcoats

Captian Ara has a unique body shape. A thick, strong body made for sailing the high seas. But apparently she's conscious about her femininity, because it appears she's stuffing her shirt with coconuts. Being able to choose whether or not you want to carry the fruits with you would be delightful (they kind of itch).
Mecha Form Neko Suit

Having a chest bump for a neko suit is a must (this is an anime oriented site after all), but that middle line takes an exaggerated dive to the left that is... well, noticable.
Mistress Dresses

A single shadow on the bustline is the only difference between the male and female Mistress Dress, but that plunging neckline is enough to make that shadow very, very important.
Mythrill Armor

The shadow that makes this item feminine completely changes the colour of the chestpiece.

The shape changes on most of the armor as well.
Raptor Tops

The raptor is a well endowed species.
Rock Hard Union Jack Top

Now, this top is confusing. The male version cuts off just above the crotch, but the female hangs down to the thigh, making it more of a slipon dress than a shirt.
Space Girl Torso Suits

For some reason the navel on the space girl suits are more accentuated on females than males. The same line on the male version looks more like a seam, and goes down to the crotch. What is this line supposed to be, exactly?
Oh, and there's some well shaded jugs here.
Stealth Tops

I actually like the shape of this top. The breasts are larger without being too round, too... Alruna. But the male version is very flat, in more ways than one; not only is there no muscle tone, there's no shine. It's like he's wearing a shirt made a completely different (but similarly coloured) material.
Sundae Sweets Corsets and Bottoms

Ah, exaggerated forms of beauty. The case for the corsets are simple: people want to wear them, both of them. As for the bottoms... well... -coughs- ...
Time Piece Corset

The versions are shaped differently. I can see both versions benefiting both genders for various reasons.
Tsunami KO Classic Shirt

This shirt is the only shirt on Gaia that gives girls muscle. This shirt makes me happy, and I would be in love with it if I could wear it without the breasts inside.
Upsidedown Tops

These tops suffer from the exact same problems as the stealth tops.
The Voluptuous Wrap Dresses

This set of items is the posterchild for gender inequality on Gaia. The word "voluptuous" is in the name, but looking at the male version, you wouldn't know why!
Wingding Shirts

A lot of people bought the wingding for those knockers and found themselves wearing chisled abs. Having both poses available would make this item extemely popular.
Dress boots
The two items "Black dress boot" and "Brown dress boot" are shorter on male avatars, and it annoys me because it is one of, if not, my favorite type of shoe on Gaia, and my other account looks wonky with them on. It is probably the most sophisticated looking shoes on Gaia as well and aren't shaped all weird like a lot of the other shoes are. Also, on the male version, there's only this little buckle you can barely see, while on the female version, you have four cool looking ones running down the side of the boot.
Winter Snow Flake and Winter Wind Snow Sweaters

What the ********, Gaia...
Fitted Tshirts

The Fitted Tshirts are the Wingdings of a bygone era. Simple. Classy. Unequal.
Shoes with lose socks
 &
Now, which one of them has the loose socks?
Skins with Gender Differences
These get their own section because I'm uncertain if making these available to both genders would be doable. Having a male wear a skin that makes him look female, and vice versa, would change how their clothes fit them. If they were to be unisexed, they'd have to be completely redrawn.
Changeling Babies Troll Skins

Troll women certainly don't lack in the T&A department.
Infernal Spirit Infernal Demon Skin

Where do I begin? The male demon is ripped - moreso than any other item or skin on Gaia, ever. Move over dark elves, you can't beat those thighs! On the other side, the female is sleek, slim, and has perky C cups - similar to the imp skins. What's more interesting, though, is their facial features. The male is intimidating, his brow strong, his scowl fierce. The female... looks a little shy.
