Welcome to the Halfmetal Shrimp: A Fullmetal Alchemist Parody Item petition thread. My hopes with this thread is to finally get a parody item of Fullmetal Alchemist, much like the parody items of Bleach (Bone Demon Mask), Naruto (Orinkage), D. Gray-man (Poltergeist Priest's Talisman), and so on. When the Gee Boi Turbo came out, many Fullmetal fans were saddened by the lack of a parody item. So read on and I hope you do sign this petition, even if you aren't a Fullmetal Alchemist fan!

The whole idea of this thread is to get a Fullmetal Alchemist parody item on Gaia. As previously stated, we have many parodies of popular anime and FMA seemed to be left out. One of the most prevalent arguments is that "We have automail and the Enchanted Book has an FMA uniform-like pose, what else is there to make?" There are numerous items out of FMA that could be made, such as alchemy circles, tattoos, weapons and even a much better looking uniform, maybe in different colors.

Why do we need an FMA parody item?

First, FMA is a very popular anime and manga. In fact, this article from Sidereel.com will tell you just how popular FMA is:

Second, staff members at Gaia are fans. Lanzer admitted to being a fan in an AtA. In the Ask The Artists on July 17, 2009, Juno admitted to being a fan of Fullmetal Alchemist (as well as Naruto and D. Gray-man, both which have parody items). So if staff members at Gaia are fans, they must want an FMA item, right?

Third, the parody items would be useful to even non-fans. The items of FMA could be useful to anyone who likes to have a military-esque avatar or even an old-fashioned avatar. They aren't very exclusive, like Arrancar masks or ninja headbands. Wearing an FMA parody item wouldn't scream "FMA-tard" but as a nice addition to most avatars.
