I sign, I absolutely love this idea. I remember something like this being brought up in an Ask the Admin thread, I had always wanted to add something to the discussion but it had been locked.

One idea I have are the "Harpies," as stated in the myth of "Jason and the Golden Fleece"
A king had offended the gods and because of that he was always surrounded by "woman-headed, bird-bodied, razor-clawed scourges known as Harpies" who would eat his meals before he could and leave simply crumbs for him.
It's my favorite curse, and I dearly hope that could be an idea.

African lore tells of the San's Trickster, Kaggen. He once transformed himself into a mantis and frightened children who showed disrespect to a dead animal by cutting it's limbs off. Stringing the limbs together like a puppet, he convinced the children the dead wildebeest was still alive by making it dance. So whatcha think about an option to have your limbs floating away from your body? rofl
