Bored of Some Good Ol' Colors, But Love The Ol' Hairstyles?

If you're too lazy to read this all, and don't really get it in text, see the post below for pictures, and more awesome information!

Well, some of us probably feel that way, including me. I think gaia should add a multicolor hair option somewhere on Salon Durem. Well, my idea is, by clicking on a hair style (on a single color), you could mixed it up with other colors! I mean, i want my hair to look good, but i don't want my hairstyle to change. The only option : recoloring! But if you love your current hair color, well, darn it's a hard thing to do! The multicolored wigs in gaia are pretty much expensive, so is there any other alternative? Yes there is! It's cheap, and easy to do, with some good ol' hair colors you (may) love. It's the option of Multicolored hair. Not only that, the Pencil Button also lets you draw your own lines on the hairstyle you choose, with the colors you pick. You can also erase the lines you made wrong. If you think you finally got the right hairstyle you want, you could click the 'Buy'/cart button, and buy the hairstyle (with extra prices on recoloring). Isn't that just fantastic? Not only that is cheap, and colorful (and fun), it's also making gaians to make their own hairstyles! So every hairstyle is unique. The hair artists of gaia, just need to improve the hair model (in a single color), and the coloring, is our fun! Wait; there's another great feature! The 'Save Hairstyle' button! With this, you can share your multicolored hair creations to gaians! And gaians can also use your the recolored hairstyle you created. If you can't think of any way to get some fabulous hairstyle, so why not try browsing the multicolor hair gallery, by clicking the 'Multi-colored Hair Styles Gallery'. The recolored hair styles there, you can purchase it!

The price for normal hair without recoloring can range from 25g to 15.900g. But with recoloring, well, you have to pay extra, but not much. Maybe around 1.000g per - color added? So, for example, you choose the hair style 'Girl's Mysterious Black', which is 25g. Now, you're adding the color white, blue, and yellow. So, the total should be 25g (base price) + 1.000 (white) + 1.000 (blue) + 1.000 (yellow) = 3.025g. But i think the price maybe should be higher, since we need to appreciate those artists who made the hair models.

Now, onto something bigger! The Multi-colored hair styles gallery! Well, i think there should be some buttons allowing gaians to rate the hairstyles they like (not the ones they dislike, it's like the '<3' button, but without the '</3' button). There's also 2 tabs, one is the recolored hairs made by other gaians ('Masterpieces Made By Others' tab), and the other tab is the recolored hairs made by YOU ('Your Masterpieces' tab)! So every time you edited a hairstyle (without clicking the 'Save Hairstyle' button, because that is ONLY USED when you want your masterpiece to go for PUBLIC USE), it's all saved in 'Your Masterpieces' tab (even if you didn't purchase it! I figure out some of you may be out of money, and want to keep that hairstyle, until you get the money to buy it).

Some Nifty Ideas!

Well, here's how i think it should look like (and they WILL have shading, unlike my crappy edit)...

How Does It All Work

'Multicolore Hair Styles Gallery' button : allowing you to look the recoloring gaians made, and purchase it (gold will NOT go into the guy who recolored it).
'Pencil' button : allowing you to draw lines (edits), on the hair model you choose.
'Eraser' button : allowing you to erase the lines you made wrong.
'Bucket' button : allowing you to fill all the areas in the hair with the color you choose.
'Eyedropper' button : allowing you to pick the same color as the one you click with the tool.
'Magnifier / Magnifying Glass' button : allowing you to zoom in, so you could draw lines more accurately.
Color wheel (next to the avatar preview) : allowing you to pick the color you are going to use to draw your lines with, you have to click on one of the colors before you use the pencil button. The small preview box underneath it gives you a 'larger' view of the color you clicked.
'Save Hairstyle' button : allowing you to share your masterpiece for other gaians to try on (gaians can also rate the hairstyles!). This is optional. You don't have to pay to save the masterpiece you made.
'HEX' and 'RGB' boxes (next to the color wheel) : If you want to pick a color accurately, and you have the HEX and RGB codes, you can enter it here. Once the preview box show up the color you wanted, all you need to do next, is draw.
'Buy' button : allowing you to buy the hairstyle (recolored by you) you wanted (with extra price, of course), and without sharing it to the world (if you didn't click the save hairstyle button).

Here is my idea on Multi-colored hairstyles gallery (the 'Masterpieces Made By Others' tab), the place where you can view, and buy, the recolored multicolor hairstyles some gaians let you to (by clicking the 'Save Hairstyle' button! If you don't click this button, the option for other gaians to use your hairstyle isn't avaible to public, so only you can use it). And the hairstyles WILL NOT ALL BE THE SAME like here, since this just a sample and i'm supah' lazy. And again, I'M JUST EDITING THIS from the marketplace, the outfits store.

How Does It All Work

'Your Masterpieces' tab : all the recolored hairstyles you did is restored here, automaticly, without you saving it. You still can edit and name the look, though.
'Masterpieces Made By Others' tab : all the recolored hairstyles done by other gaians (and also you) is restored here, whenever they (and/or you) click the 'Save Hairstyle' button. Gaians can buy or try the hairstyles, and also rate them!
'<3' button : has the same use, like 'Like' button on facebook.
'Buy' button : used to buy the hairstyle, with Gaia cash, or Gaia gold (again, gold will NOT go to the gaian who recolor that hairstyle).
'_____ gold' : the amount of gold you need to pay for that hairstyle.
'The Avatar Look' (above the ____ gold text) : is the preview of your avatar wearing the hairstyle.

I think it'd be easier if there were some sort of color wheel or something like that to color one's hair. It'd keep it much more simple and there would be literally thousands of colors, so everyone can have a unique hair color.

Have any questions? Ask them right away! I'll try to answer it as best as i can. I may also put questions i have in mind, and try to clear them up.

Q : So, how much with hairstyles after the recoloring?
A : Depends on how many colors you use. I think +1.000g for every colors use is okay. Please refer to the first post on more about this.
Q : What's the use of this 'recoloring' function, in Salon Durem?
A : It gives us the place to express our creativity in hair coloring. And also, the staff wouldn't need to recolor hairstyles (multicolored ones) one by one, since we can recolor them ourselves. But Vanessa seems to be busier later on XD
Q : Why isn't there a </3 button on the 'Masterpieces Made By Others' tab?
A : Because i found that many gaians doesn't like the '</3' feature. And so, i decided not to put it.
Q : How could we shade the hair? As i see in the second post, no hair shading! It's all flat!
A : Well, we WILL NOT need to shade our own hair. The hair artists of gaia will provide (maybe) some sort of file (probably kind of like .PSD, or something like that) in the place where we recolor our hair. Example : If we have the base color yellow, and we would like to add some pink, well add it on! The shade will turn into dark - ish pink. <--- If you're an artist, you should know this like you when you're shading your art.
Q : What's with the colors next to the 'All' button (the first picture)? We can recolor our own hairstyle, so why is there still some hair color options?
A : Those are base hair color options! If we only have a single base color (for example, black only), and we want to change most of the colors into another color (for example, yellow), you wouldn't want to paint it all over, would you? That would be tiring! So that what's base colors are for.
Q : Are we only to able to color with the premade colors, or we can use the color wheel?
A : I'd pick color wheel :3 So i made an edit on the use of the color wheel. It's on the second post.
