ALL-TO-ONE BASE PETITION [40+ Signatures]

With the amount of animal bases we have, It doesn't sound like it's worth it to have extras, so my petition is this:



Instead of having multiple bases, we move it to one base, while the ears and tails that we already have from the other animal bases, are instead turned into gold shop items and every animal item works on the base itself. What does this mean?



Exactly. Create whatever you want. Stick some rabbit ears and a fox tail, and put on a panda skin! But it's a bear skin. Not anymore! you can use ANY SKIN! but wait, there is more to this petition. Why keep it as a base for animals, when you can make it a base for chibis too?



Here's some mix and match i made using the original ears and tails, while the last two I made them myself (With lack of detail and items not included in gaia). (In case you are curious about who are the characters I made, the green one is Keroro from keroro gunso, while the one in the fox costume is Dodger, from the co-optional podcast animated)

I don't use the animal bases and such very much, but this idea gives people more ways to be unique, in my opinion.

Yeah. Imagine if gaia started off like that where we had bases for anything with a permanent base. We would probably have over 20 due to races and colors.

And what a mess that would be. The way you suggest it, that would be so much fun to mix and match.

And let's see, as an incentive to Gaia, it could even become a gold sink, like hair, at the salon. Each time you want to change your hair and/or ears, you could pay a fee. They could call it "clipping" or something. Probably don't want to indicate that paws are pets though so they'd want to be careful how to word that, while keeping it separate from the salon hair styles.

I'd be fine with that as long as it's not an insane price. And that could also work for tails too.

I don't use animal bases too often, but I think this is a cute idea.
Would it be difficult for devs, though?

There's only one downside to this idea. The artist will have to color four more ears and tails to get it to fit with all bases with each skin. But some skins replace the ears and tails (like raccoon) anyways, so I don't see too big of a problem anyways.
