Amen, Signed
Twice II
I realize that the artists have repeatedly informed us that there is no set schedule for EIs, and that sometimes things happen, work takes longer than expected, internships end, real life interjects, and other projects pile up. I get it. We all get it.
But when your customer pays for a product, it's typically expected that you will actually provide them with that product.
I had really hoped that the OMG forum would bridge that gap in communication between staff and users and merchants and paying customers, but when EIs get delayed over and over again with no acknowledgment anywhere, even in the artists' journals, it just shows that there is no real concern for the customer.
You can say you care about your paying customers, but unless you actually show it then it doesn't really matter what you say.
We understand that things happen, and projects get delayed, but if you can't even acknowledge it then why should we want to give you our money?
Are you that resistant to having public accountability when you can't make an estimated time of completion? Because I would have thought the ample amounts of GCD and SF and PM and comment bitchery would have at least proven that there is already an estimated timeline you're being held to, whether it's accurate or not. Why not just tell us what a realistic timeframe is so we won't get pissy because we have no idea when we can hope for an update, and we can all go about our business?
