Official Public Schedules for EIs
A Petition

Hello, Gaia! A lot of Gaians are up in arms over the irregularity of certain EIs, such as the Case of Pietro. While the artists have very busy workloads, it's left a lot of people, who spent their hard-earned real money on this, angry, confused, and vowing not to spend money on Gaia again. To absolve this problem, we, the undersigned, propose that Gaia release estimated times of evolution for all EIs, except ones that have been announced to be irregular, such as the Catastrophe!. This will keep users informed, and they will know when to expect the evolutions, allowing them to buy the EIs on time, and also importantly, mitigate complaining in the GCD and SF.
This solution will keep your customers much happier, relieve stress from your artists (as they undoubtedly have deadlines already, but they won't be abused as much now), keep SF and GCD cleaner from angry rant threads, and encourage more purchases of Cash Shop items. It may even mollify people who have sworn off the Cash Shop in protest. What's not to like?
Gaia, please take this proposal into consideration. It is for the betterment of your business, the forums, the artists, and your userbase.
This petition in no way is an attack on Gaia or artists, or an attempt to pressure the artists. It is exactly what it says on the tin. Keep your drama out of this petition. Thank you.

I, Captain Wickit, sign in support of this petition.
And I like the word "estimate". Sure, there will be times and cases where an evoltion might be later than planned (if this petition goes through), that would be fine. But like EI's of old, they would say "Hey, sorry guys, this EI has been delayed".
(I'm going to use the Case in this example, because it really is just that, a great example)
I'm even fine with the Case taking 2 months per evolution. But we should know off of the bat that it's a 2 month item, this is the first time a 7.50 item has taken longer than 3 weeks to evolve. They might not get as many sales off the bat, but it would be result in happier customers. I know that myself and many others have stopped any donations to this website because we do not feel that they have been respected at this point. If they started taking their cash-transactions more seriously I would change that.
"There is no set schedule" worked before, but at this point it's being abused, and it's a poor excuse. When the #1 arguement for EVERY critical Ei thread is "No set schedule, it's in Peppers profile", it's gone too far.

3nodding I'd like to sign, help keep everyone in the loop - Gaia can even stress that it's "estimations" and that sometimes these are likely to go over; but a general idea would be good.

I think this is a very good idea. Tektek's schedule is only tentative, so having something somewhat more concrete would be fantastic. That way, if something does come up where an item needs to be delayed, then they could adjust the schedule to compensate.
So, I sign.

I am signing this petition in the biggest capital letters and with such gusto that the internet literally tears from my vigourous chicken scratch. If there were more of a set schedule instead of some vague rule, I would gladly hand over more of my money to Gaia. Instead, currently I'm left with somewhat of a gamble. I would expect things paid for in cash to be treated more seriously than something paid for with strictly site gold.
Gaia could improve their communication as well, but there won't be such a demand for letting us know what's up if there were a consistent schedule.

I sign. Even if schedules don't work out, AT LEAST have better communication between people and artists.
Like have it in the EI report, for example if Masquerade was delayed another week or so: "Masquerade will not be evolving this week due to the artist is sick with THE PLAGUE!!!"
Or like a quote from them like "Hey sorry everyone I'm really busy with XYZ and won't be able to work on EI for a few weeks!" Then people wouldn't be so D:<!!!
If there's a reasonable explanation a lot of people have sympathy. It's human nature, ya know?
It's just frustrating because most of us pay actual money for EIs. -_-;

Signed.
I used to love buying EI's. But with the lack of communication and these delays, I feel like I wasted money. I would be content if they gave us estimated schedules and told us if there was going to be a delay and why.
