Welcome to Gaia! ::

I have a question. What if you use a Dream Avatar, and add it to a wishlist?

Given that those are technically Gaia images, that's perfectly legal. Most wishlist shops use dream avis if the customer supplies the dream avi image as the avatar they want on the wishie.

Thank you <3
hey nice avi i like it exclaim exclaim
While this is good idea to make sure art isn't stolen
If you did go to the creator of a anime and asked to use picture(s) the would probably want money in return for using those pictures

Yes, because those images are copyrighted. The point is for people to not use copyrighted images in the graphics they make.
Either way people are still going to do it

Hi.
I just found a banner shop, thats selling really great graphics, and okay prices.
But, she's using a free online program that is called bannerbreak.com, and just re-distributing them for gold, when anyone could make their own.
Is this a reportable offense?
Edit: Now she is claiming that all of the graphics are made from a program, and that it's just coincidence that they are the exact same as the ones at banner break, while taking down all the banner examples.... neutral
edit edit: She has closed the shop, hopefully she will make and use her own graphics from now on. biggrin Yes, I told her that I'd get a mod to see her shop if she was absolutely sure that all the art was her own.

Just because it is on Google doesnt mean it is in the public domain. It was still made by someone, so you would have to contact the creator and ask for permission.

Quick clarification--In my shop, I'm selling 'Who's That Avatar' pictures, a parody/knock off of the "Who's That Pokemon" segment shown on the Pokemon TV shows. Is this okay? Also, if I was to use a Pokeball in a banner to advertise (not to be sold) would that be okay as well?
i have permissionto sell art from square go me ill sell you my selling ability
Awesum. I got that now.
