ok so we can use movie/anime images for personal or if done for free usages. It says you cannot alter, this may sound really dumb but is it altering to crop and change the opacity on an image used? I made a freebie profile for a friend featuring draco malfoy where I cropped and altered the opacity. Is it not allowed? should I tell her to unhost it and make a new one? profile in question

Basically, some people try to claim that altering an image makes it their creation. Don't worry about it. You should be fine.

Sorry, animewallpapers do not own the images they provide and thus are not able to give you permission for using them.

This is fine, make sure that the image is definitely their own creation, not taken from somewhere else.

We are allowed to ask the customers to use a render from a render site, that we download the stock renders from, right? I like to refer to these as free-render sites and ANYONE can download and use the renders. Or if you are a member of a community like animerender.com and use their renders. They are considered free so we are allowed to use them in signatures right?

Sorry, no. You can't use these renders for selling for Gaia gold since you are profitting from it. You are of course allowed to use them for your own personal use, or if you were making for others for free.

The same applies ^^; If you are to use a render and then make effects, add a background etc., you'd need the permission of the artist or company that owns that image if you wish to sell for Gaia gold.
