(I'm on my iPod right now)for the panel, I just used the shape tool with the rectangular shape with the rounded corners. To get the dashed line effect inside, I actually made a second box inside of the original (in the same color) and made a white dashed line border on that inner box.

well aren't you clever.
i might have to try that sometime.
though i'm not sure how to do a dashed border.
for any border i just do alpha to selection and grow selection, then fill a transparent layer beyond the alpha to select.

Hm, I have been trying to get a dashed border successfully and this is my first successful attempt. I have photoshop adobe 7 so it's super old and I'm sure that I'm limited to the things I can do. Anyways, to make a dashed border, urm, I'll have to explain that tomorrow when I can provide either a picture or link to the article that I learned how to make one. You could find a couple via google but some of them could be tricky. Unless I'm thinking of something else lol XD

Go ahead and try it! My next adventure is to try to make the border more fun looking. C:
