Well, no. The least you could do is nothing. I am ever so glad you don't do that though. My life would be much less entertaining. xd

True ... the least anyone could do is nothing ... but I've got to do something to show my gratitude.

Although, why you feel you need to be grateful to anyone daft enough to be sitting around drenched in Mango Chicken water, is a whole different matter.

... What the heck did you do?!

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

There may have been a teeny-weeny little incident that ended up with half the kitchen being covered in Mango Chicken water.

Well, not half the kitchen. Just the stove, and the front of the oven. And the bench in front of the microwave. And the cupboard door closest to the stove. And about a square metre of floor. And the tea towel. And my tracky dacks. And my slippers.

On the upside, the drunk cat didn't get caught in it. Although he is sniffing at the floor right now with a confused expression on his face....

Drunk cats always remind me of Rodney Rude.

"I think that's funny, a drunk cat."

And your dinner reminds me of my porridge the other morning. For some reason it exploded in the microwave. I didn't do anything different and I didn't even hear a pop, but when I took it out I noticed it was all over the place ... only after I had used my PJ sleeves to get it out, that is.

Heh, porridge all over you PJ's.

... and, to be completely honest, the whole Mango Chicken all over the kitchen thing? Entirely my fault. At least the porridge was out of your control.

I shook a jar with water in it, and found out after the first shake that the lid wasn't on properly. Oops.

... so why is no one here buying radials? I love mine, it's the best wallpaper ever. Even better than the one with Ant as Phantom. I realise it's almost sacrilegious to say such a thing. xd

I guess no one likes them. They're not terribly fancy like all of the banners and signatures and so forth that other graphic shops use, they're just simple radials. And, if desired, a touch of text or whatever added.

I happen to like the wallpapers I've made - The Red Flower was the first big radial I made and I had that on my desktop for ages, as you know. Then the experimentation took over and I tried all of the ones I made for a while ... not so much the blue and red one, that was just made as an example ... but I've currently got the black and white one on my desktop. It goes well with my black and silver computer and so forth.

It seems to be because no one is coming in. The radials are cool, I love them. If people would come and see then they'd know.....

We have that problem at work a lot lately. It's all well and good to say we need to sell a certain amount of stock each day, but if no one comes into the shop, it's impossible to sell.

GAH!

If I had the slightest hope that you'd let me pay for one, I'd order a radial off you. *sigh*

But what would be the point of that? You get them for free!

And people do come in - at least as far as the visitor count for free gold, anyway ...

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

I know I get them for free. Fantastically wonderful woman that you are. heart

And they come, in small amounts, but they are just ... what's the word? Gawkers? Sticky beakers? In a good way. They're just having a look-see. Sooner or later someone who's actually looking to buy will come in.

You know how you have to be in the right mood to spend? I can go shopping sometimes and not spend a cent, even if there's something I really like, but other times I'll only see rubbish, but I'll still buy it. (Like the set of graphic pencils that I was coveting about four years ago, and had completely forgotten about, but bought on an impulse the other day. Ordered, anyway. Haven't heard back from that bloke yet...... maybe I should go in tomorrow and see if they're in....)

I can't remember what I was saying.... I'm going to wander off now, and I'll be back to carry on this convo tomorrow.

Gold Diggers? XD

I hope so, really. It's a bit sad if I can't even run a Gaian business.

I don't have to be in the right mood to shop. I never would have said that before I went to uni, but I always end up buying anything when I go out. Like insurance. And police checks. You know, random crap.

... So are the memories of love that we knew ... heart

... I thought you had to have the police check for your job? And insurance is good. Unless you're insuring an instrument, they all seem to have a very weird clause that says it's fine to kill your instrument while you're outside your house.... as long as you aren't using it. Of course, if my clarinet ever dies a horrible death (touch wood that it doesn't) outside of my house, it's going to happen while it's locked up in it's safe little box, not being used. Pfft. (And, yes, I realise sarcasm doesn't work so well in the written for.)

So, anyway, for the most part, I'll only go shopping when I need something, but if I'm in the right mood, I'll wander around and buy all sorts of random stuff. Graphic pencils, dresses - things I don't use. xd

Of course you do - you can't be in a room alone with a child without a police check. You can't close the door either, but sometimes they close it, so I don't fight it XD The only reason it would really be closed is if no one's there or if it's the end of the school day and I'm teaching the high schoolers that come in, where at the same time all the other day care kids come in and kick and scream about in the building ((it's an after school hours care place. It's not so bad, I get the whole building to myself until 3:30. It's even got a kitchen, so I'd be pretty much set to LIVE in there if need be XD)).

But you're finding uses for them now, aren't you? And I rando-buy dresses even though I'm not a dress person. But it's a good thing I do or I'd end up going naked to that wedding - and YES that's a bad thing!

Of course that would be a bad thing! All those random strangers looking at you naked! Not for public viewing.

And to be honest, I still haven't gotten my graphic pencils... they're still on order. I'm currently using a dodgy Papermate HB. Pfft.

You're lucky you're not a bloke. They can't be alone with a student at all. It was a fairly major problem when Dad was still teaching. One year I think he had three students, all girls, and if two were sick on the same day, he wasn't allowed to be alone with the third. The school secretary had to hang around to supervise. Blah.
