Yes they were, and I love my shawl. But I still can't believe we both got shawls for each other on the first anniversary that we were physically together.

I love my shawl too. I'm slightly peeved that I bought a dress for Emma's wedding that clashes with my beautiful shawl. It will be November though, probably won't need a shawl. Unless there's a cool wind on the harbour. Sydney's weather is always so unpredictable.

Yeah, as much as I love mine I don't think I'll be bringing it in November. I'm already worrying about how the weather could effect whatever I pack to wear for the week.

Ha! You're on a slippery slope, my love. I had a similar problem last time I came to visit you. First you're wondering how the weather will affect your packing, then you'll descend a bit into wondering which of your three jumpers you should bring, or if you should bring them all (I guess you'll have a summer equivalent), and then you fall into the madness of spending a week trying to work out if you should pack your Oscar the Grouch pajamas again, or the blue cow ones.

You know when I came over for LADS, I bought my Oscar the Grouch PJ's just because I knew you'd see them. My other PJ's are just a tiny, weeny, huge bit daggy.

At least you've GOT other PJs. Mine are all Winter. My warmer nights PJs tend to get a bit more wear and tear and with me being the restless sleeper that I am that means there's a lot more tear than wear. So I currently have none.

Or visit Best and Less or some equivalent cheap clothes shop, and grab some PJ's. Oscar PJ's were a Best and Less job.

And I think you're right, it is the Strog that's making my tummy feel weird-ish. I burped, it tasted like a yucky sausage smell, and then I felt more strange than before. That doesn't explain the weird sense of disconnection though. I guess that's just the dizzy thing striking again.

And that's no fun. I think you should stay away from that strog. Get rid of the rest. I don't know what else could cause disconnectedness ... ness ... ness ... thing. I know I feel it when I feel like I'm out of touch with people but it can be an entirely different case for you.

Oh darl, you changed your avi! You know, I might have been wrong about the no-mouth thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But I do admit the lips you had on before were a tad creepy. For the longest time I had the small open mouth until I found that the small mouth suited me better.

Yeah, I think the rest of the strog will end up in the bin. Made me feel ill, then disconnected, then somewhat hyperactive. You may have noticed that during the most recent phone call....

I did change my avi. That was a spur of the moment thing last night, and I'm not particularly satsified with it. I might need to change it again. And to be honest, I completely forgot about the mouth. I just chucked an outfit on her, and moved along. xd

There is one up in Renmark. I suppose I could roadtrip there someday. Won't be the same as our roadtrip.

You talked a lot but I didn't think it was unusual. Again, I never have much to talk about.

Roadtrips together are always more fun. Actually, anything is more fun when you're there. Eating, sleeping, watching paint dry....

Yeah, I had to change it again. I wasn't happy with how it was. Still not completely satisfied, but it's much better. I think it would be better if the dress was darker. Or if the boots were chunkier. I might have to do some more experimenting.

There are some darker dresses available, somewhat similar to what yours looks like. Audrey's short dress or something like that, I can't remember. And coal gunner boots are chunky XD Have you tried black Admiral's?

Not destined to be paint watchers, you think? I guess you may be right. We're probably too easily distracted. *sigh* Yet another career choice down the drain.
I'm sure it would still be fun though, whatever we happened to get distracted by. Just wouldn't necessarily involve a lot of paint watching.

I did vaguely remember Audrey's Whatsit dress. But I searched for 'black dress' in the Marketplace, and this is the best of the ones that came up. I shall have to use a small amount of effort at some point, and go do some proper searching.
